Tenerife Mobility and Disabled Minibus Airport Transfers

mobility disabled= The Blue Badge Mobility and disabled minibus airport transfer service includes as standard and "Free of Charge" meeting you at the airport, helping you with your luggage, and then help you onto specially adapted minibus transport for your needs with the use of ramps if needed. All wheelchairs are properly secured in the transport by our fully trained drivers. The driver will then assist you at your hotel on your arrival.

Important Notice

In compliance with the European Parliament regulation EC1107/2006, as from 26 July 2008 all European airports will operate an assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility.

If you are not accompanied by someone who can carry your luggage for you, please inform the airport's handicap service team, so that you can be helped. We remind you that this is an airport service which is free of charge. The free transportation of handicapped passengers inside the airport has been settled by European Law.

Transfers can be booked as late as 48 hours prior to your departure and we guarantee that we will always have transport available up until that point. Even at busy times of year, we will not leave you stranded!

Tenerife Airport Facilities for the Disabled Traveller

Both Tenerife airports are wheelchair-accessible and there are lifts to take passengers to the upper level. Telephones, restaurants and toilets are all physically accessible and facilities to assist disabled passengers from the aircraft to the terminal are available. Disabled travellers are advised to notify their airline of any special requirements at least 72 hours before departure.

At Tenerife South Airport there is fleet of wheelchair accessible taxis operated by Granadilla Taxis De Abona, which can accommodate manual and electric wheelchairs and scooters.
